A Compound with a topsail.
The development and testing of the Kite took place between 1903 and
1907. At this time Cody was empoyed by the Military as Chief Kite Instructor
and he was alos reponsible for the development and
Construction of kites. 1907 before the first tests with motorized
Kites began, Cody was so impressed with the Compound that the back part
of his Motor-kite had a strong resemblenee with the Compound.
